




Tricia Oktober is an Australian author/illustrator who is best known for children's books about Australian flora and fauna and/or the environment. She also is a botanical artist and the detail in her picture books reinforce her ability to enamour readers to care for the environment. Year 2 do a unit of enquiry on the environment and Tricia has enough titles to do an author study as part of an environment study. Her titles include: Oil Spill; Rainforest; Reef; Drought; Wetlands; and Bushfire.
