15th October World Mushroom Day

I have written about Mushroom Day before, here and here, but while I was in Canada I finally read Kallie George's book,  Mushrooms Know

and once again I was fascinated by how much our world depends upon mushrooms (and or fungi). Then when I got home, Sally Soweol Han's new book The Mushroom and the Flower was in all the bookshops and here was an excuse to buy another mushroom book.
