22nd January Answer Your Cat's Questions Day 1 (picture books)

Cats are inquisitive creatures by nature.  January 22, Answer All Your Cat’s Questions Day is the 'purrfect' day to look at cats and the questions they ask.

Cats and dogs are popular topics and characters for children's books! In the library we are often asked for a book about a cat or a dog depending upon what the young reader owns, wants or prefers to read about. So to start this term off we are instigating a display ...  'Cat of the Week' and 'Dog of the Week. We will put out a sign introducing the cat and dog and then display whatever books we have about that cat or dog.

There are so many book series with a cat as the main character! Below are cats you could use for your display.
