The readers who use use our school library all know the graphic novels, Cat Kid by Dav Pilkey and Max Meow by John Gallagher, but eventually they have read all the available titles and need to move on to other things. Many of them are also fans of Magic Kitten by Sue Bentley and Holly Webb's myriad of cat stories, but the cats are different in each of these titles. Here's some suggestions of other cat series to look for:

• Cat Tales by Linda Newbery
• Scratch Kitten by Jessica Green
• Tuffy from Diary of a Killer Cat by Anne Fine
• Catwings by Ursula Le Guin
• Supercat by Jeanne Willis
• Stick Cat by Tom Watson
• Toto the Ninja Cat by Dermott O'Leary
• Singenpoo by Paul Jennings
• Kitty's Midnight Adventures by Paula Harrison
These will keep you busy but I'm sure there are other series I've missed!
